Dr. Michael O’Connor, Ph.D., MSPM, MSTM, MBA, has joined PMWorld 360 Magazine to share his vast experience and knowledge concerning leadership and quality. He has over 27 years of professional experience in the Medical Device Industry. He is the Director, Strategy and Project Management with Medtronic Plc, and his corporate experience also includes 3M and Pfizer. Dr. O’Connor is an Adjunct Faculty Member teaching Graduate level Project Management, Project Capstone, Procurement, Culture / Organizational course(s). In 2012, he was selected as an American Society for Quality (ASQ) Quality Fellow, and in 2014 selected as a Medtronic Technical Fellow. Dr. O’Connor writes about leadership and quality for PMWorld 360.
Alongside Dr. O’Connor, Jan Schiller, Phil Katz, Eren Akdur, and Greg Craig have also joined PMWorld 360 Magazine as regular guest contributors to share their expertise with readers.
Ms. Schiller is a partner with Berkshire Consulting LLC, focused on linking strategy to results with project management in the financial services, investment, health, beverage, learning management and life sciences industries. She writes about scope and portfolio management.
As an expert in infrastructure procurement, Mr. Katz brings 25 years of project management experience spanning various industries and currently works at a major insurance company managing infrastructure projects and providing infrastructure support to application development. He writes about procurement and remote project management.
In his current role as Vice President for the PMI Turkey Chapter and Program Manager at Roketsan Inc., Mr. Akdar comes to PMWorld 360 with more than 17 years of experience in project management for the defense industry. He writes about project procurement management and contracts.
Mr. Craig’s current role is at a Fortune 500 company leading a group of diverse individuals focused on analytics and process improvement. He has extensive project management, process improvement and quality management experience across a variety of industries. Mr. Craig writes about business processes and quality management.
